MAAHI Newborn Care Centre is established since 2015. It is the first dedicated exclusive Neonatal Centre in the region of Saurashtra and Kutch. MAAHI is run by team of four neonatologist which are available 24 x 7 x 365. MAAHI is not just a hospital but an Institute. It is an acronym for “Medical Academy and Advanced Healthcare Institute”. It is Level 3 NICU with availability of all state of art instruments e.g. Nitric Oxide (1^st in this region), High Frequency ventilation, Conventional Mechanical Ventilation, CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, MiraCradle (Whole body cooling), Echocardiography, etc. We are having Transport Ambulance with Incubator, Ventilator to transport any neonate from any part of Gujarat. We are presently transporting babies from as far as Una and Bhuj. MAAHI is a tertiary referral centre for whole of Saurashtra and Kutch region. We have been treating all kind of neonatal illness. We are the first to survive baby as preterm as 23 weeks and birth weight as low as 500 gms in this region.
